Nearly 60 years ago (1968), Kautokeino Camping was started by Marit and Georg Kristensen. They wanted to create a place where travelers could enjoy Kautokeino’s amazing surroundings. Back then, the site only had tent spots and no modern facilities.
Today, the campground is run by their children, and many upgrades have been made.
